Conkai introduced at Leeds Beckett’s Elevate and Exchange Summer Series
This May, Conkai made its second public appearance at Elevate & Exchange: Chapter 2, part of Leeds Beckett University’s Summer Series of Networking Events.
Hosted on the rooftop terrace of the Leeds School of Arts, the morning brought together business leaders, creative professionals, and innovators from across the region.
Among the speakers was Tiffany Mazza, Founder of Conkai and Director of Bagna Marketing, who shared how her experience running a small consultancy led to the creation of a digital product built for founders who need strategy without the jargon.
From consultancy to innovation
Conkai began as a simple idea inside Bagna Marketing, to take the thinking and frameworks of a strategic marketing consultancy and turn them into something every small business could access.
Tiffany spoke about the reality behind that process: testing ideas with real clients, simplifying frameworks, and translating years of consultancy work into a product designed for everyday use.
She described innovation as something practical, not abstract. “It’s not about doing everything differently,” she explained, “it’s about finding smarter ways to do the things that matter.”
Conkai was born from real consultancy work. It’s built for founders who want clarity
Part of Leeds Beckett’s Knowledge Exchange
As a virtual office client within Leeds Beckett University’s Knowledge Exchange, Tiffany shared her experience of working in a community that connects business and education.
The collaboration has helped shape ConKai’s early development, providing both support and inspiration through access to research-led networks, peer learning, and a creative environment that encourages open thinking.
It’s an example of how innovation can grow through everyday collaboration, not just in labs or large agencies, but in real workspaces where ideas are tested and refined.
The start of something new
Conkai’s appearance at Elevate & Exchange marks an exciting step in its journey.
The platform is currently preparing for wider testing, with early adopters from Bagna Marketing’s client base helping to refine the experience.
The goal remains simple: to give small businesses access to structured, strategic marketing guidance that feels achievable, not overwhelming.
Final Thoughts
Leeds Beckett’s Summer Series was a reminder that innovation often starts small, with a clear problem, a good idea, and the right people to bring it to life.
Conkai is the next chapter of that story, built from consultancy experience, community collaboration, and a shared belief that good marketing should make sense.
